Homemade Halloween Angel Cat Costume

Holloween costume for cats

1. Draw wings on a piece of cardboard.

2. The wings should extend from the base of your cat’s tail to the back of her head.

3. It’s okay to make them a little smaller, as they may have trouble balancing on your cat’s back.

4. Cut the wings with knife. Cut three holes in the base of the wings.

5. Remove the wings to a well-ventilated room, or outdoors and sprayed them gold.

6. Once dry, thread some elasticized fabric strips through the holes.

7. Bend a piece of coat hanger so it makes a V-shape on top, with a small platform on the bottom for stability.

8. Attach a silver chenille stem, bent into a circle, to the top.

9. Take a strip of cardboard which the right size to rest on top of your cat’s head, and place it inside an elastic headband.

10. Firmly attach the base of the V-shape to the cardboard underneath the cloth headband (you will need to slit the headband).

11. Make sure it’s not too tight. You don't want to strangle your cat do you.

12. If your cat try to push the halo off, just simply bend a silver chenille stem into a circle and place it directly on her head.
